Our very popular Celtic Challenge Cycle Ride has unfortunately been cancelled this year but will now take place from Thursday 17th – Saturday 19th June.
After cycling from Aberystwyth to Fishguard, a short but hilly distance of 56 miles, the group will cross over by ferry to Rosslare. After arriving at the port, there is a short easy cycle ride (12 miles) to the hotel in Wexford where the group will enjoy a pleasant evening meal together.
The following day the group will cycle 92 miles along the Irish coast to the port of Dublin before taking the ferry to Holyhead. After the second overnight stop in Holyhead the group will depart on the last 106 mile leg of the journey along the Welsh coast back to Aberystwyth.
The weekend is a real test of skill, endurance and determination for riders with a reasonable level of fitness, providing a memorable cycling experience as well as being able to enjoy a real taste of Ireland!
The Celtic Challenge Cycle Ride around the Irish Sea allows you to enjoy some of the most beautiful coastline in Wales and Ireland and has become a unique event.
