The November Challenge this year takes place from 2nd November with the final day of 1st December being held in Saundersfoot.

How old do you have to be to enter?

You can be any age as long as you can run or walk! There will be various locations to start on the final day of the challenge including a 2 mile distance for children.

Am I an adult or a child?

Anyone who is fourteen or under when the event begins can enter as a child. Anyone over that age is an adult.

I don’t live near the event, can I still take part?

Absolutely! We actively want to encourage people to get up off the sofa and get a healthier lifestyle, no matter where you are! If you cannot make it to the event, your thank you medal will be posted to you after the final day.

Do I have to do all 30 miles and all 30 days?

Not at all. We just want people to get out and about, get fit, and help raise a bit of money in the process!

Does it have to be done in 1 run?

You don’t have to do the full distance in one run – you could do half in the morning, and half in the evening. You could even split it into short and long runs. As long as you do the distance within 24 hours, that’s all that matters.

How far will I have run?

If you run 1 extra mile every day for the whole 30 days, you will have run 465 miles! But don’t stop there, if you want to run further, you can!

How far will the final run be?

The full distance on the final day will be 30 miles (but there will be starts at 20, 17, 13, 8, 4, 2, and 1 mile out) so you can get involved even if you can’t do the full distance! From 2 miles out it is envisaged all entrants will gather and run to the finish line together, along with children that have been part of the challenge.

Is there a minimum amount I need to raise?

There’s no minimum amount you have to raise, we just ask that you raise whatever you can. It will all go towards helping a very worthy cause.

Where does my sponsor money go?

Your sponsor money will go to support The Captain Cymru Foundation.

When does the sponsor money need to be paid in?

Ideally on the day of the event (Saturday 1st December 2018) – you can bring the sponsor money as a cheque.

What can I use to raise money?

You can donate here, or you can download and print a sponsorship form by clicking here!
