Pembrokeshire Coastal Path Challenge

At the beginning of July a group of 23 undertook a dawn to dusk challenge along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.  It was a huge success and though some places were quite tough, everyone enjoyed the experience.

We have booked 2015’s challenge along the coastal path for Saturday 1st August.

Challenge type:  Walking / Hiking

‘Wild and exposed headlands punctuated by some of Pembrokeshire’s finest beaches’.

The Challenge commences from the most westerly point on the Marloes peninsula, overlooking the turbulent tide race of Jack Sound and Skomer Island where the wide sweep of St Bride’s Bay reveals itself and finishes in St David’s the world’s smallest city and popular pilgrimage destination.

This two day walking/hiking challenge is ‘haven heaven’, stringing together 6 bays with a ‘haven’ name and the most popular sections of The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. It’s a real rollercoaster ride though, with many steep descents and ascents.

Moderately strenuous this two day challenge covers around 30 miles of some of the most spectacular coastal scenery and natural environment in the UK with a hearty supper and overnight stop in a laid back cliff top hotel located directly on the coastal path.
There is an optional second night in St David’s followed by a circular walk to breath-taking Whitesands Bay on day 3.

Package price would normally include: two days walking, accommodation, supper and breakfast for one night in an en suite room, afternoon tea on day two and all transfers.

Costs:
£195 per person per day (no sponsorship required)
£95 per person per day (minimum sponsorship £100 per day)

Costs include Bed, breakfast, evening meal and all transfers.

In addition to the registration fee/deposit and cost you commit to raising the minimum sponsorship as shown above. 50% of the fundraising target must be received by ChallengeAid no later than 4 weeks prior to the challenge. The other 50% of the remaining sponsorship must be sent to us no later than 4 weeks after completion of the event.
