After the immense success of the Big 500 and the Ladies London to Paris cycle we are excited to bring you another event for 2017. The event will consist of selected teams taking on a specially adapted triathlon over 3 days set in the beautiful welsh countryside.

Individuals will register separately and we will then formulate equal teams. The ideology behind this event is not individual brilliance but a strong team ethic and a tough challenging event. As the name suggests we will be supported by and raising money for ChallengeAid.

The only money individuals will require will be for alcohol.

Location:  St David’s (Pembrokeshire)

Day 1 – Pembrokeshire Team Cycle

All teams will start at our base camp in St David’s at 9.30am and will embark on a 110mile race around Pembrokeshire. The route is a challenging but beautiful route taking on picturesque Welsh countryside and stunning coastal views. Points will be awarded for positions and team times taken into account for the overall standings. For a team to “finish” all team members must cross the line.

There will also be planned King of the Mountains” time trial sections for individuals to test themselves and win prizes.

Day 2 –Pembrokeshire Team Kayak

Teams will set off from the Pembrokeshire coast and kayak from one beach to the next. We expect teams to be kayaking for roughly 4 – 5 hours. This is a dark horse of a challenge but teams will be supported and steps will be taken to ensure everyone’s safety.

Day 3- Pembrokeshire Team Hike

The final day will be a 17mile hike starting North of St David’s and teams will make their way south finishing in St David’s. Teams will experience some of the most picturesque views Europe has to offer and the challenge itself will be a gruelling but rewarding one.

*We want this to a spectacular challenge with a variety of abilities but please be aware that training will be required. Anyone who has been to Wales will know the terrain is “hilly” and unrelenting in places. The price is extremely competitive and we promise you a well-run and rewarding event that helps a truly fantastic charity in improving lives of others.
