Even more success stories from Schools of Hope

February 1st, 2019

Continuing last week’s theme of success…with Katei, from our Bisil School of Hope. Katei was adopted into the community at a young age and community members have been fundraising to pay for his school fees. Katei completed his primary education at the end of 2018 and has since been admitted to one of the top national schools and has his sights set on becoming an engineer.

Katei scored 408 in his Kenyan Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), to put this into context for you, the top student in the country achieved a score of 453. Only 584 students in Kenya scored higher than 401, putting Katei in the top 2% in Kenya! A superb success story.

Well done Katei, well done Bisil School of Hope which is based in Kajiado, Kenya -Katei’s proud parents have every right to look happy!
