Chess Trainer’s Workshop

Following on from last weekend’s sports competition (4th – 5th November) although no tables were available, it didn’t stop these chess champions from playing.
The field was muddy but everyone made the best use of iy.

Challenge Aid Africa Chess Trainees – Training conducted by Waridi Chess Ventures on 7th October 2017

Picking up from last Saturday’s session. The trainees were able to remember much of what we covered last time. This being our last day before being released for duty, I was really impressed by the games they played. All participants were given certificates having covered the basics of the sport in theory and in practice. Seeds were planted. Watering and weeding in the farms (schools) to follow.
Many thanks to Sophia – Challenge Aid Africa and Nancy with her team based at the Church Army Hqs, Jogoo Road, Nairobi.
