“Schools of Hope” Partnership with UK Secondary Schools

We currently have thirty five “Schools of Hope” in Kenya and Tanzania though largely in the informal slum settlements of Nairobi.

We are looking for thirty five schools here in the UK, probably Secondary, though Primary Schools will be considered, to join a partnership programme with these “Schools of Hope” in East Africa.
There will be opportunities for the children here to get a real flavour and create links with children there to learn about what it is like to be a young child living in these urban slums.
If your school is interested in this partnership or wish to discuss the programme further email : info@challengeaid.org
or contact us via our website www.challengeaid.org

We are looking for Secondary Schools to join a partnership programme between the two schools here and East Africa with many mutual benefits:-

  • Hosting fundraising events such as sports activities, danceathon, inter-house competitions, etc. to see SoH into the future
  • Fundraise to install two toilets and a water point in your partner school
  • Build a ‘pen pal’ letter writing  relationship with the children
  • Have a fancy dress party as a ‘mufti’ day at the end of each term
  • Make and sell

If your school is interested in this partnership E: info@challengeaid.org or contact via our website www.challengeaid.org.
