Protection and Nurturing of Children

April 17th, 2018

At the last Supervisors’ monthly meeting in Mathare the focus was on protection and nurturing of learners under the Schools of Hope umbrella.
The supervisors shared strategies that they use in their own SoH’s and the debate was finally concluded with unanimous agreement that no child will be subjected to corporal punishment as at the end of the day children are free to attend a SoH – it is their decision.
All SoH’s will promote the dignity of all children.
There is a united team of Supervisors that shares ChallengeAid’s values – that the well being and empowerment of children comes first.
