Life Skills Session

Following on from yesterday’s post; although no tables were available, it didn’t stop these chess champions from playing. The field was muddy but everyone made the best use of it. After the games Fatma visited Kiamutisya SoH to meet with girls to discuss hygiene and the issue of sanitary pads.

Thika is our 35th School of Hope situated in the Kaindutu area, North of Nairobi. Last Saturday the Thika SoH committee visited Kiamutisya and Majengo to learn how to manage a SoH. Thirteen people participated and met with other youths who have given leadership skills and tips so the SoH can proceed with confidence.
